Chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices declared on Monday that it expects to report first-quarter revenue of about $1.23 billion, well below Wall Street analysts' forecasts, and announced a restructuring to lower costs. AMD said revenue dropped sharply quarter-over-quarter for its computing solutions business, with lower prices and significantly lower unit sales. Is this more evidence that AMD is getting whacked by Intel???? I think at this point the smart money is on Intel. They have finally woken up to AMD.
