Forget gold or oil, uranium is the commodity to play. Right now, there is a supply shortage of this hot white metal. Nuclear plants are going up like mushrooms. There is massive underinvestment in uranium production and the supplies coming from nuclear disarmament have more or less dried up. Besides, it takes up to 10 years to turn an uranium discovery into a producing mine.
