Toyota Motor Corp. announced Tuesday it will build a $1.3 billion assembly plant in northeast Mississippi to build its Highlander sport utility vehicle. While the Big Three are slashing jobs in the U.S. , Toyota is adding American jobs. Toyota is even making a presence in NASCAR of all places.

It's no surprise given that Toyota are building plants in the south. It makes sense.
